After high school I wasn’t very sure what I wanted to do with my life… come on I was only 18 and they wanted me to decide what wanted to do for the next 40 years of my life. (I could not grasp that idea for the life of me) but over the last year or soo i started look and exploring different things that i thought I might want to do. (I went everywhere from the medical field to being a kindergarten teacher LOL) then one day when I was at the dentist it clicked I wanted to be a dental hygienist (I sat there for maybe an hour or two just talking to the dental hygienist that was there. Now that is my (MAJOR) goal in life! To finish up school here at Crafton Hills and then transfer to the Loma Linda school of dentistry!
I believe having goals for my life is important. If you are not working for something then what is the point of doing anything at all. (I mean I sure there is a point but you know what I’m trying to say) I believe it is good to have set goals because once you accomplish them you can reward yourself and then set higher or new goals to accomplish and by doing this you will always be working your hardest to achieve something. (Which I don’t see as a bad thing) on a said note, why would you want to date or be with anyone who doesn’t have goals for their life. LOL
Life to me would just seem pointless if I didn’t have any goals to work for.

ReplyDeleteI think that most of us taking this class as college Students have the one common goal, which is completing College if it is at Crafton Hills or Valley or anywhere. Enjoy exploring this time in your life to find yourself and what you want to do with the next 40 minutes, days, weeks, or even years. Who knows you may find something you never thought you would do, and the greatest thing about it is if you never come to Crafton Hills you may not have discovered it.
I to agree why would you want to be in a relationship with anyone that is not going anywhere and with out goals then it’s hard to move forward in life.
