Hello everyone! Well lets get started! My name is Amber but a lot of people call me Ambie. I’m 19 years old and just moved to Yucaipa from Fullerton. Definitely a HUGE change, but I’m getting use to it. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my friends. (movies, eating, partying, sleeping, partying some more, & just kickin’ it) I LOVE going to school && learning! It’s definitely something I don’t mind doing and look forward to all the time. Unless it’s history then I rather be doing ANYTHING else. I really don’t watch television but if I do then it’s Food Network. (NOTE: I REALLY REALLY don’t understand why people watch Jersey Shore. No Offense to anyone that enjoys the show but I honestly feel like I lose a LARGE amount of brain cells watching it.) My favorite thing to do is cook for people! I LOVE cooking & baking, for whatever reason it puts me in a good mood. I’m constantly looking up and trying out new recipes! I don’t have a favorite type of music because I listen to all kinds. However, I do have a favorite band: Tiger Army. I like to believe that I’m a really open minded person when it comes to anything. I love being introduced to new and different things no matter what it is. Stepping out of my comfort zone is something I don’t have a problem with. (I like to think of it as spicing up my life.) I start everyday with a smile and a positive attitude. I embrace change and love my life more and more each day. (:

ReplyDeletewell as I read your post I thought it was really cool how you love to cook and bake. I want to be a baker. I love to bake and be really creative. I watch cake boss and dream on day to be just like Buddy. Another part that caught my attention was the comment about Jersey Shore I thought that was funny but I do actually watch it. I know killing brain cells right lol. I watch it because I find it really funny and the things they do are crazy. I was actually surprised you didn't like it because you said you like to party and so do they but just more of an extreme party haha. Well I think it’s pretty cool how you are open to trying new things. I never heard your favorite bands music but I have actually heard of them. I also noticed that you said you like to try new recipes for cooking. I will let you know my recipe for macaroni it is so good I love it but I only made it once in foods class. I plan on cooking it again, cooking is fun but I get mad if it doesn’t taste good lol. Well that’s all I have to say you sound like a cool and fun person.

ReplyDeleteI like your blog you and I seem to have the same points of views of life. You seem like a very cool down to earth person =). How long have you been in yucaipa? That is a huge chanhe I've gone to fullerton quite a few times well the downtown party scene =). There is so much to do out there I bet the move was pretty hard but I hope your enjoying your new surroundings. I use to watch food network all the time I'd try some stuff but cooking is not my thing, plus I have no time for it lol. So if you got those skills your lucky =). I remember hearing you say you in class you got to kiss your favorite bands singer if I'm right? Very cool one of my favorite bands is the used and I got the chance to meet the drummer and chill so that's always a great experience. Ok I think I've written plenty have a nice day.

thats really cool that you want to be a baker! i wanted to go to culinary school but i decided it was more of a hobby! (: LOL i watch cake boss as well but i think i liked the show ace of cakes more! hahaha yeah idk i can’t get myself to watch it.. BUT my boyfriend loves it! i normally do homework or study when he watches it on tv! (but your right some of the crap they get themselves into is funny. their just sooo dumb!) LOL okk ill be waiting for that macaroni recipe!! ;) AND DONT WORRY I’m the same way! when i cook for my boyfriend and things don’t come out the way i want them to i get all upset. haha but he always tells me it tastes good. (i think he just does it to make me feel better!)

well i ahve been in yuciapa for only a few months now. (i moved here in june) LOL YES down town fullerton is the best! i wasn’t old enough to drink at the bars but i know alot of people that worked in them so i always got in :D LOL! Yeah, the move was kinda hard at 1st but i keep busy visiting friends in riverside all the time and now that school started i have stuff to do so it’s getting better now. (: yes your right i got to kiss him! (HES SOOOOOO SEXY! LOL) oh! I’ve met The Used! i went to see them play at taste of chaos in 08 and i won a singing contest for fuse tv with my friend when we were standing in line to get in. our prize was that we got to go back stage and meet all the bands that played during the concert and stand on stage for a few songs. it was a really rad experience! :D

ReplyDeleteReading your post i have to say i agree with what you say about Jersey Shore, my friends are so addicted to it and i tried to watch it once with them but i didn't even finish an episode. I LOVE to watch the food network especially Ace of Cakes, Duff is like my idol lol. I dont think Buddy from Cake Boss be can compare to Duff because Duff is more easy going and Buddy well we all know how he acts. However, I do have one question for you, What is your favorite recipe that you have done? and which recipe are you interested in doing?
Oh and by the way I think from fullerton to Yucaipa most have a really big change and it looks like you have taken the positive side of it since you embrace change... I am not that big when it comes to moving but I take change as a new challenge. =D

ReplyDeleteLOL yeah i'm the same way. (the only thing im think when i watch it is. WOW! the things people do for money&&fame!) Heck Yeah! Duff is freakin rad. i mean i love Buddy and all but him and his family are always yelling and screaming about something! hahaha!
well i would have to say my favorite recipe would be this home made chicken soup that i cooked once it just tasted sooo amazing! (lol but i was sick at the time and it was the only thing i could eat for a week! so that's probably why!) i really really want to learn how to make cheese cake! i made it once about a year ago with my tia but i totally forgot how to do it! so i want to see if i can make that alone this time!
yeah i moved alot when i was little so i think thats one of the things that made me so open to change! but i dont mind it i never get tired of what im doing that for sure.
